App Store Connect screenshot dimensions (2026)

Apple updates required device sets every year. As of 2026, the 6.9" / 6.7" iPhone set and the 12.9" iPad Pro set are the only true requirements — but most teams still ship the older sets for legacy device coverage.

Google Play Store screenshot dimensions (2026)

Google Play is more permissive than the App Store. The Console accepts a wide range of dimensions, but for clean rendering you should design at fixed 9:16 sizes that scale proportionally.

How to resize your app screenshots

The whole flow takes about two minutes. There is no signup and no upload — every operation runs locally in your browser.

1

Drop your tall iPhone shots

Drag your 6.5" or 6.7" iPhone screenshots into the first drop zone (Group A). A source of 1290 × 2796 gives the cleanest result.

2

Drop your 9:16 shots

Drop your 9:16 source images into the second drop zone (Group B). These render to iPhone 5.5" and Google Play sizes.

3

Reorder by dragging

Drag any thumbnail to reorder. The numbered label updates instantly and is preserved in the export filenames.

4

Preview the structure

Confirm the folder preview matches what you expect. Each device size gets its own folder inside the ZIP.

5

Export the ZIP

Click Export All as ZIP. The tool renders every required size in a Canvas, packs it into a single archive, and downloads it to your machine.

Frequently asked questions

Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser using HTML Canvas and JSZip. Your screenshots never leave your device, are never uploaded to a server, and we have nothing to log. You can confirm this in your browser's network tab — there are no outbound requests when you export.
Which App Store screenshot sizes do I actually need in 2026?
Apple requires at least one set of 6.9" or 6.7" (1290 × 2796) and an iPad Pro 12.9" set (2048 × 2732). The older 6.5" and 5.5" sets are now optional but still accepted, and many teams continue to ship them so older devices fall back to the closest size automatically.
What is the right Google Play screenshot size?
Google Play accepts phone screenshots between 320 and 3840 px on the long edge with a 16:9 or 9:16 aspect ratio. 1080 × 1920 is the safest baseline that scales cleanly across nearly every Android device and is what this tool exports by default.
Will the resizer crop or distort my screenshots?
No cropping. The tool does a pure proportional scale to the target dimensions. To avoid any visible stretching, use Group A for your tall iPhone ratio sources and Group B for 9:16 sources — that way each batch maps cleanly to its target sizes.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No signup, no email, no watermark, no paywall. The tool is built and maintained by Verox Studio for the design community. We use the same tool internally on every mobile project we ship.
Can I use the exported screenshots commercially?
Yes. The tool only resizes images you already own. You retain full ownership of your screenshots and can use the exported files in App Store Connect, Google Play Console, marketing pages, paid ads, or anywhere else.
